What's this? It's Oogie Boogie's Lair! In this Out of the Box video, Turco unboxes Diamond Select Toys' Nightmare Before Christmas Oogie's Lair action figure box set, a PX Previews Exclusive made for San Diego Comic-Con 2020 with a limited run of 3,000.

What's in the video

In Tim Burton's cult classic, Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, grows tired of his yearly routine and discovers a doorway to another world called Christmas Town. This box set recreates the film's final showdown in Oogie's casino-like lair, where Jack takes on that bag of bugs Oogie Boogie for the fate of Santa Claus while Santa and Zero look on.

The figures

• Santa Claus: about 6 inches tall and highly detailed, in his red coat with his Santa hat. Flip him over to see his Christmas-themed holly berry pants.
• Zero: Jack's faithful ghost dog, with his red collar and signature pumpkin nose. A clear stand and base let him float by Jack's side.
• Jack Skellington: the Pumpkin King, with multiple points of articulation in his slender frame, plus a display base.
• Oogie Boogie: the Boogie Man himself, painted in bright neon green so he seems to glow.

Sculpt, paint and packaging

• Figures sculpted by Cortes Studios
• Special paint that reacts to black light
• Full-color window box with a black-light switch on the back that lights up the scene
• PX Previews Exclusive, limited to 3,000 sets

With its light-up box, this set is a standout display piece for any Nightmare Before Christmas collection, especially around Halloween.
