Vinyl figures are all the rage, but there's another stylized collectible from South America that's worth a look. In this Out of the Box video, Turco unboxes MiniCo from Iron Studios, featuring the Avengers: Endgame Iron Spider and Storm from the X-Men Animated Series line.

What's in the video

Iron Studios, from Brazil, has been making highly detailed collectible figures since 2012. It was the first Brazilian company with licensed products made 100% for collectors, and its licenses include Marvel, DC, Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. The team shares collectors' passion, so its products aim for the highest fidelity, using original references from films and series.

MiniCo is Iron Studios' twist on the vinyl figure craze: cute, highly stylized mini statues made of PVC with amazing detail. Each one is brought to life in a "Toy Art" style with expressive eyes and faces, vivid colors and action poses.

Avengers: Endgame Iron Spider

• Peter wears the high-tech metallic suit with tentacles that Iron Man built for him.
• Rustic base of rocks and rubble from a metal structure
• Holds the "Stark Gauntlet," built to unite the Infinity Stones and reverse Thanos's snap
• Measures 5½ inches tall
• Box with some really cool artwork

X-Men Animated Series: Storm

MiniCo's X-Men line goes back to the '90s and, according to Iron Studios, was one of the most requested series from fans and collectors. Based on '90s comic designs, the figures combine into a diorama of the heroes on top of the wreckage of a Sentinel. The lineup includes Gambit, Rogue, Beast, Psylocke, Storm, Cyclops, Wolverine and Jean Grey.

• Storm descends from an ancient line of African priestesses, grew up an orphan on the streets of Cairo and was recruited by Professor X. She draws her power from Earth's electromagnetic field to control water, wind and electromagnetic fields.
• She floats on one finger of what's left of a Sentinel's hand, with a small sample of the weather in her left palm.
• Stands about 8 inches high, with amazing box artwork
